Richie in Vegas pleads guilty to illegal gambling

Las Vegas, Nevada - May 15, 2018

Richie, a 53-year old man from upstate New York, pleaded guilty in a Las Vegas courtroom today to illegal gambling.

According to prosecutors, Richie had traveled to Las Vegas specifically to engage in online gambling activities which are illegal in the United States. These activities included participating in casino-style games and betting on sports.

He was arrested by casino security personnel at the Flamingo casino on the Strip last December after he was caught using his phone to place bets.

Under a plea agreement reached with prosecutors, Richie will face up to 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine when he is sentenced later this year.

Richie in Vegas fined $250,000 for gambling

Casino officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Richie, a man who has stolen over $100,000 from the casino in the last six months.

Richie is described as being in his early twenties, with brown hair and a goatee. He is approximately 5'10" and weighs 160 pounds. He is believed to be currently living in Las Vegas.

Richie in Vegas denies any wrong doing

The 27-year-old singer was arrested early Tuesday morning after being caught on camera pushing and kicking a woman inside the Venetian hotel security footage showed. He was booked on suspicion of battery.

When asked by a reporter how he felt about the situation, Valens said "I don't know what you're talking about". The Venetian released a statement saying that they are cooperating with local authorities in their investigation.

Richie in Vegas suspension lifted, will return to casino

The Nevada Gaming Commission announced that it has lifted the suspension of casino executive Richie platform. The decision comes after a review of new information that was not available at the time of Platform's initial suspension.

"We are pleased to announce that the commission has lifted the suspension of Richie platform," said Gaming Commission chairman Tony Alamo. "After reviewing new information, we believe thatPlatform can resume his duties as casino executive."

Platform was initially suspended in February after allegations surfaced that he had accepted bribes from a casino supplier. However, new evidence has since come to light indicating that Platform was not aware of any illegal activity by the supplier.

"We have determined that Platform was not complicit in any wrongdoing by the supplier," said Alamo. "He actually reported their activities to internal security, and we believe he had no knowledge of any illegal activity."
